Irvine, West Pitcorthie which sold for £120, 279.1p per kg to Messrs Scott Brothers, Butchers, Dundee.</strong></p>

Irvine, West Pitcorthie which sold for £120, 279.1p per kg to Messrs Scott Brothers, Butchers, Dundee.</strong></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Lawrie &amp; Symington ltd held the Inaugural Spring Spectacular Show &amp; Sale of Pedigree Dairy Cattle with a catalogued entry of 40 cattle including the part reduction sale of the milking portion from Mr A. Kerr, Townend Farm, Stonehouse.</p>
<p>The pre-sale Show was judged by Mr R. Wilson, Mayfield Farm, Castle Douglas where he picked his champion, an Overside Dictator daughter from Mr A. Kerr, Townend Farm this 2<sup>nd</sup> calver sold at 2150gns to Messrs J. &amp; T. Parkin, Daviesdyke Farm, Newmains.</p>
<p>Reserve Champion was from Messrs J. Adamson &amp; Son, Swaites Farm, Pettinain. This heifer was by Sterndale Rosman Red and was purchased by Hugh Watson &amp; Co, Laigh Tarbeg Farm, Ochiltree for 1900gns.</p>
<p>Top price at the sale was 2180gns for a heifer from Blyth Farm, West Linton a daughter of a homebred Gibson son sold to Hugh M. Jackson &amp; Son, Wolfclyde Farm, Biggar.</p>
<p>There was also an exciting embryo packaged from Mr G. Scott, Scotsdale on offer was 3 grade 1 embryos out of Glasson Jasper for Erle Et herself a daughter of the world renowned Field of Dreams Formation Erle Ex 95. These embryos sold at 420gns each to an undisclosed buyer.</p>
